Doc Pepe's Lab™ Barrel-Finished Manhattan is a classic blend Bourbon Whiskey from Kentucky, Italian-style Sweet Vermouth crafted in-house, and Angostura® bitters. Once the cocktail has been mixed it is then transferred to used American port wine barrels for a period of 3 to six months. The oak softens the heat from the whiskey, bringing the fruit and spice notes into balance, while tannins lengthen the finish for a truly delicious Manhattan. The cocktail is bottled at cask strength and is recommended to be stirred briefly with ice and strained into a chilled glass, garnished with a cherry or lemon twist. Each batch is crafted by hand on the Monterey Peninsula by cellar master Christian Pepe.

FINISH: peppercorns, black tea, coconut butter
